I did that when I was younger and single. Totally different environment and customer behavior. But lots more $$$ Hmmm....trying to remember a FiFi. No Gene, would never use my real name on st age. This is a family sports board so will not be able to share that with you. Besides I am a mature woman now and no longer do acrobatics on a pole.

On May 19th. I made a posting about "Non-Registered Users May Post"
The purpose was to encourage some of the guests we get on here to feel welcome to post even though they have not registered. We already have one valued member who has preferred to decline being a registered participant.
My mistake was in not locking the thread so it could not be posted to and thus would have remained informational.
Therefore I have had to remove several postings to put the sticky back to my original intent.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

All good my friend, looks like you made your first "sticky" or something like that. It's fun hanging out here.

Thank You Kevin. This place has turned out pretty well. Lots of help with it from Dayton keeping us up to date and Myles running the contest. I wish we had more members but it is encouraging to see how many check in here even if they do not post.

A few more members and more active members would be nice. What do you think about more non racing related threads. I know I frequent another forum or 2 on discussions on different topics. Can you make another catagory besides General and ESPN?

When we started this place, as said before, it was to be an alternative to conditions that we wanted to avoid at ESPN.
We set it up that guests could comment for a couple of reasons. One being the hope of encouraging valuable new posters and the second was that all of us could stop in and quickly read the board without having to sign in. This may have to change in the near future.
I also more or less encouraged one guest to post under various names because he writes well and because in our no holds barred ESPN section he was badmouthed heavily by some of us as well as guests. So I felt as long as he was reasonable he could act as a guest posting in all areas with all issues. Our opinion of his value has changed. Another guest, Eugene, is a great asset to the board and contributes often.
Now what has happened is we are developing traits similar to the ESPN board. Someone has made sport of screwing with this board simply for the fun of it just like he has off and on at the other board. I would not be surprised if one....just one...of the reasons for the shit stirring was to be able to brag that he was kicked off of here. All of it is grandstanding and loud. None of it is to any of the normal posters benefit. All of it is designed to be disruptive. In other words it is Troll Sport.
I apologize to our good posters for letting this happen. It has been fun following NASCAR on here and we have some very knowledgeable posters as well as fun people.
At this point I am not going to screw all of us by making us sign in every time we want to read the board.
Gsmack, don't post in the front or normal section of the board anymore. Feel Free to do your trolling in the ESPN section until you run that into the ground and ruin it too. Don't look at this as a challenge It is a way for you to continue to post and those members who want to avoid your statements will not have to wade through them in the normal racing section or the other interest section.
Again I apologize for letting childish behavior make our normal posters uncomfortable.

I thought you were asking for opinions of how the parties involved should resolve a situation. I do apologize to you and everyone else for my misunderstanding of said post. I can only give you credit for the way this board is run, and look forward to coming here because of the unrestricted atmosphere.
