Great, this will sure help the traffic situation in Homestead. It will be Michelle Obama and Jill Biden instructing NASCAR’s best to start their engines as the racing season comes to a close in Florida. The first lady and the vice president’s wife will visit Homestead-Miami Speedway on Nov. 20 as it hosts the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup finale, the Ford 400. The two women will serve as grand marshals for the event, leading the pre-race ceremony and offering the famous instructions: “Gentlemen, start your engines.” Wonder if this will make her proud to be an American for the second time in her life? I gotta laugh at that thunder thigh bimbo trying to tell other people how to eat.

I wish they had not been invited to the event.
In the old days there would be lots of booing.

I wonder if she will bring Rev. Wright with her. Remember him? The pastor from their church who screamed " God Damn America" from the pulpit.
Now wouldn't that clash with the singing of " God Bless America "?

There is a thread about this over on the goofy board....oops mean ESPN.
Somebody named Bill Barker started it. One of the Busch Nation people jumped right in his face.
Probably die after two posts, but they were heated.
For the record I think her being invited to the race is all about being political correct and catering to everybody.

I agree. too much PC. i want Nascar to stick to what got them where they are. I don't really have a problem with her being there though. I didn't vote for her husband, but to each their own.

Not sure whether it is the Homestead Raceway or NASCAR that set up the Obama/Biden appearance.
Either way in my opinion it is a mistake.

Total political appearance by them. They could care less about racing.
Mrs Obama probably resents NASCAR because of it's Southern background.
Mrs Biden was stupid enough to marry Joe and probably thinks she will be at a football game.

But he also got 4 "like"s which is a lot for that message board.

When they did the interview with the two of them in the garage area you could see France in the background.
Hate to see politics in this race.

What can they expect putting reps for one of the least respected presidents up there to do the honors? Should not have anybody from either party for that honor. I felt a little sorry for the kids hearing the boos, but what parent would put their kids in that spot? Had to know they could be booed. Then the interview made it like being forced fed a paid political announcement.
