Don't know how many of you follow football, in this case the NFL. The esteemed leader of the National Football League is proposing abolishing the PAT's. His reasoning is it's almost automatic that the extra point will be made.
Here are some of his suggestions for scoring; a touchdown will now be worth 7 points, not 6. BUT there is a potential for an extra play from scrimmage that would yield an 8th point. BUT, if you fail, you go back to 6 points.(Anyone follow that?) Roger Dodger did not explain how the "potential" for the extra play would work. Has he even considered how much longer the games will take because of instant replay. Football is a 60 minute game & already it takes 3 hours to actually play the game, DUH.
WTF, I swear Goodell is king Brian's twin cuz of these idiotic ideas. Can't these grown ass men realize you don't screw with tradition. I'm sure Big Bill & Bill Jr. will rip Brian a new one when he gets to the mighty race track in the sky. I could go, on but I'll refrain & step off my soap box.

I think the solution is to move the extra point back 5-10 yards. This would make it missable.

good idea myles, this may be the perfect solution. I do doubt if Goodell will think of it though, it's just too easy a solution!
