Animal Planet's "Tanked" stars Wayde King and Brett Raymer head to Statesville, N.C., to help transform Richard Childress Racing driver Ryan Newman's and his wife Krissie's animal rescue facility, Rescue Ranch. In this episode, the dynamic duo brings to life a functional aquatic desk for the entrance of the ranch. For this pet-passionate couple, King and Raymer customize a multi-piece desk freshwater tank on site with handmade animal sculptures and coral alongside an array of exotic fish. To pinpoint the theme, the duo recreates a variety of animals that can be found at the center including a Bulldog, Golden Labrador, rabbits, turtles and snakes, as well as a life-like NASCAR helmet taking center stage that incorporates the sporty side of Newman. The Newman's great love for animals was the key reason Rescue Ranch, a non-profit animal welfare organization, was opened. Formed in January 2012, this one-of-a-kind facility strives to end pet overpopulation and associated suffering with protection and humane care. Tune in on Friday, March 14, at 10:00pm/et for the reveal of the NASCAR star's Rescue Ranch tank.(Discovery)(3-13-2014)

I also watched the show. Was hoping they'd show a few more of the animals & talk with the Newmans more, oh well. I did like Ryan's story of catching the blue gill, bringing it home & putting it in his aquarium. A couple years ago, I believe it was the speed channel that did a segment on the ranch, I especially remember the buffalo!!!Doubt if I'll watch this show again, wasn't impressed with it. btw, I'm loving the Rescue Ranch & what big hearted people Ryan & Krissie are. I've donated money to Victory Junction in the past several years. I'm going to donate to the Rescue Ranch this year. Kids & animals, can't go wrong supporting to these worthy causes.
