What a crock. www.foxnews.com/us/2012/06/18/public-outcry-after-adidas-announces-racist-shackle-sneaker/So nothing that can be connected to slavery can be used by anyone? I don't get it. Slaves were not the only ones who were put in shackles. I understand how some can see it in a negative way, but to make a big deal out of it is silly. I'm Polish, so I know how to be thick-skinned. The guy who compares it to a swastika with Jewish people is way off base. A KKK hood is more the comarison to a swastika. I would think a gas mask would be closer in comparison to the shackle. Although you can see where it could be connected to the gas chambers, gas masks were used by many people through the years.

I saw a news story about this where they showed the silly sneakers and then interviewed two black guys who were saying the sneakers were racist......duh....then don't buy them. It is not like anybody is making African Americans wear them.
