Would it be a good idea for Nascar to have two one mile dirt oval races a year. It will never happen, but I sure would like to see it. Good idea or not?

Why? We know it won't ever happen, but why would it not be a good idea for us fans? Wouldn't you like to see it?

If I want to see dirt track racing then I would go to the local track (like I do sometimes) and get dirt in my beer there. I don't need to go to or watch on tv the best drivers in the world race on dirt. Many of them haven't raced on dirt in years so why ruin their chances by changing things and running on dirt, especially if its in the chase. I don't even like the road course races, they belong on paved ovals in my opinion. The thought just doesn't appeal to me.

I think the more different tracks they race on, the better it is and the better to find out who is the best driver. Looking at history, I'm not sure I believe they "belong" on paved ovals. I would love to see it.

Pretty wild idea. It could be a crap shoot like the plate races are. Not all of today's drivers have experience on dirt. But would get the attention of the viewers.

Somebody should sponsor an invitational dirt race during the off season. Would get the ball rolling. I hate the off season and that would perk it up.
