Speaking of the pre-race show......
What is the reaon for Brad Dougherty yelling everything?
Between his yelling and Niclole Briscoe being obnoxious it is annoying.
Was a good interview with Bad Brad.

I don't know about anybody else but I thought Vickers was worse yesterday than usual. I never liked the guy and will probably never like him. Sorry he was sick and glad he got well, but don't think he does much for racing. This is an interesting editorial type story on his behavior and driving yesterday. Just one part states...... "The opening 100 laps of the Tums 500 were some of the most absurd in recent memory, with nearly half a dozen cautions slowing the speed at already-slow Martinsville to elementary-school-speed-limit territory. And almost all of those cautions originated or involved one car: the No. 83 Red Bull Toyota of Brian Vickers. It was a strange sight; Vickers isn't usually one of the more wreck-happy drivers in NASCAR, and here he was, running afoul of driver after driver. There were 18 cautions in this race, and NASCAR stats showed Vickers involved in five of them. And at least two drivers attempted payback against Vickers, with one, Matt Kenseth, potentially altering his Cup chances as a result...." Here is the link in case anybody wants to read the entire story. sports.yahoo.com/nascar/blog/from_the_marbles/post/Brian-Vickers-8217-day-goes-from-punch-line-to;_ylt=AuUWTEgBlftXCmkos72XbIjov7YF?urn=nascar-wp4945

I don't remember hearing anything about this on TV. It is from Scene Daily.
MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Sean Irvan, jackman for the Front Row Motorsports No. 38 team and driver Travis Kvapil, was treated and released from a Martinsville Memorial Hospital Sunday night after being injured during Sunday’s Sprint Cup race, according to team officials.
Irvan was struck on pit road by the Hendrick Motorsports car of Mark Martin during the Tums Fast Relief 500.
Officials said Irvan suffered a concussion, a neck strain and a medial collateral ligament strain in his right knee. He also lost consciousness.
After being evaluated in the infield care center at the track, Irvan was transported to the hospital by rescue personnel during the event.
Tests performed at the hospital for more severe injuries were negative

We enjoyed the race. Always like the short tracks and agree with some that we need more.
As for Vickers, he has always seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder.

Top 10 reasons for Brian Vickers’ numerous incidents at Martinsville Speedway:
10. Who says only Chase drivers get TV time?
9. Last-ditch attempt to impress potential sponsor for demolition derby ride.
8. Briefly lost consciousness after too many Martinsville hot dogs.
7. Attempted to drive entire 500 laps using only his knees to steer car.
6. Pink curbing continually broke his concentration.
5. Got distracted while trying to read the scoring pylon in the infield.
4. Still trying to get that whole two-car tandem thing down pat from previous week.
3. Hadn’t been fast enough to hit anyone all year, got carried away.
2. Upset over rumors of impending Kim Kardashian divorce.
1. Had been mainlining Red Bull since 5 a.m.
