I think baseball needs more of this. Not all the time, but since they typically give out harsh penalties for small altercations, they have limited fights to 4-6 per year. since 2400 games are played, that is a small number. Besides, baseball fights or brawls are pretty tame.

all the sports channels keep saying both sides are to blame. I disagree. I think the dodgers were in the right.
Whether anyone agrees with it or not, baseball etiquette dictates a retaliation when your player is hit in the head. Right wrong or indifferent that is how baseball is played. So the guy got hit in the back & you figure it is all even, but then the D-backs think how dare you & headhunts the Dodgers pitcher after already hitting a dodger in the head. I have to agree with the Dodgers on this one.
On a side note, if I get in a fight I am taking Big Mac with me ;D Thought it was funny when I saw he had two guys, one in each hand screaming at them.

Complete agree that the Dodgers were in the right.
As Donnie Baseball said, they hit our guy up high, we threw at them, it's over.................but it wasn't (obviously). The D-Backs had no business throwing at them a 2nd time after the bean count had been evened up.

I usually don't mind the donnybrooks.
Was not happy when Zimmer got knocked on his butt.

Baseball is about the only sport I can watch on TV and read the paper at the same time. Hear the crack of the bat or crowd and look up in time to catch most of the action.
