I watch the awards every year. Seems like every year I am embarrassed for us race fans by the crappy way the show is handled.
1. Brian France looked like some type of bored kid, dragged out to something he did not want to be at.
2. Not a big Reba fan and took her performance as just OK
3. Monica Palumbo has managed to run in front of every camera available for the last three years and now obviously has a new position. She has no talent and must be dating somebody from SPEED.
4. I look forward to the drivers statements every year, but this time it looked stiff and painful for a couple of them
6. Time to take the Champs group off the stage and put them in a table at the front of the room. Nobody could enjoy the night sitting up on the stage and the seating set up does not allow conversation. I don't think Tony's "date" was big on small talk and would have been nice if he had somebody else to chat with.
7. The Jersey Boys and Reba McEntire ? Like is that supposed to cover all possible tastes? One end to the other? More like a Brian France innovation.
8. Tony looked like he was in a trance up till he was allowed to speak then he did fine.
9. Can anybody tell me why Kyle Busch's wife was part of the opening? Where she and Kyle even there?
10. Best part of the night was Jeff Gordon break dancing.

It was better than some and worse than others.
I miss the old announcers like Ned Jarrett Benny Parsons.

I tune in each year and am not surprised when it is not very exciting. My favorite part is the driver's comments and now NASCAR is spanking them for speaking out. The old announcers were much better. But you left out Bob Jenkens.

I don't get Speed . I would have to upgrade my TV package in order to get it. It's really one of just a few that I would watch if I did that. I already have so many channels, that I cannot find time to watch everything I want to.

Really complimentated each other.

ESPN moves their NASCAR show around so much it is hard to catch but SPEED's is on the same time Mon-Fri. SPEED offers a lot of support type shows that really enhance following the stock car racing scene.
