I bet it was pissing off the owners that had more to do with it. This is pretty big news. I bet Waltrip has already called him.

The media does like to stir things up but you must refrain from calling a reporter a moth$%(*er on live camera I agree, but the media folks must take some responsibility if they continue to ask dumb questions. You would think they could be better prepared with questions. It drives me crazy when the first question they ask the winning driver is "How do you feel?". Then they start just throwing obvious or dumb questions at the drivers. Sports reporters have, for years, thought that they do not need to be competent at their job. They are not prepared, they obviously try to stir things up attention and they don't judge when they should take a step back. This does not totally excuse Kurt.

I am sure you have heard a couple, at least, of his tirades. How would you relate to somebody talking to you like that? I know some of the announcers can be pushy and obnoxious, but it is also his team that he talks to like that. There is no excuse for it. Also it never seems to stop with him.

Don't get me wrong, Kurt was an ass. I guess what I was referring to is a little off subject. I just cannot stand how sports reporters think they are above all and nothing is off limits (not just with Kurt). These guys pretend that they are real journalists, when in fact they are just there trying to stir crap up.
