I hope Grubb does well next year and makes Stewart pay for the shoddy way he was treated after winning with the 14.
Know he is saying he is not looking to get even with Tony, but I do not believe that.

After finding out he was going to be fired after the seaon and still hung in there

He was told in early October that he would not be back, thus giving him time to toss his hat into the ring for other jobs.

Getting fired after helping to win a chanpionship is not my idea of good treatment.

Getting fired after helping to win a chanpionship is not my idea of good treatment. He was fired before Tony won a race. It was a decision that was made before the chase. I don't think winning a championship afterwards changes anything. I think Tony did a couple things right: He didn't just throw Grubb out on the spot. He didn't wait till the season was over. I hope I get treated as good if I am ever let go.

I am a big Tony fan so I will not see things quite as clearly as those who are impartial.
It seems to me since he is the owner he has to worry about team performance as well as driver performance. Therefore the decision to let Grubb go earlier in the season.
I was hoping at the end of the season and after winning the championship Tony would change his mind and keep Grubb on the 14 team. But the bottom line is it was an owner's decision and we may not know all the facts.
